Open joint-stock company “Zont” (the plant of high-end technology facilities) is one of the unique enterprises in Ukraine, which specializes in manufacturing of the high-tech equipment. Major phases of the design engineering and implementation of high-tech equipment:

• 1995 – Our own system of computer numerical control for oxy-fuel plasma cutting machines СNС 4000 was designed and set in the dustproof shell with warming-up in winter. The projects of the general maintenance and retrofitting of the different types of oxy-fuel and plasma CNC cutting machines were developed and implemented.
• 1999 – The new construction of the carriage applied with the ball-screw drive and dust protection was developed and implemented. 
• 2000 – The new height-sensing system for oxy-fuel torches was implemented. Brand new project “Kometa M” was developed and implemented. Software was developed for the full-revolving three-torches beveling block. The products were certificated for the security standards. The automated CAD/CAM nesting software “MARS” was developed and implemented.
  
• 2001 – CNC 6000 meant for machine control under 12-axis was developed and implemented. The high-precision plasma cutting machine “Meteor” was designed.
• 2002 – Production of the gas-cutting machines “Raduga-M”, “ASH-70M” was resumed. Brand new machine “Kometa Kl” was designed with path counter and with the possibility of the stripe and cross cutting. The production of heat exchangers for air-fractionating apparatus and condensed gas pumps was started. 
• 2003 – Electric-arc  scanning system for plasma cutting machines was developed and implemented. 3-torches gas-oxygen beveling block was integrated on the flame cutting machines. Retrofitting and retooling of the machinery in the plant was made, including processing of the racks, gear milling and thermal processing.
• 2004 – Anniversary machine “Kometa” number 150 was released. Specialists of JSC ”ZONT” received training on the usage of the most modern of plasma cutting sources in the Netherlands and in Germany.
  
• 2005 – New cutting machine with integrated flame- and plasma cutting “Kometa 2M” and slab-cutting machine were developed and produced. New cutting machine “Meteor” with Windows XP based CNC was developed and implemented.
  
• 2006 – First in CIS machine with plasma beveling block for shape cutting was developed, produced and implemented.
  
• 2007 – 5-axes system for pipe plasma cutting with the beveling block was produced.
  
• 2007 – Water-jet cutting machine “Marina” was produced and implemented for the testing operation.
  
• 2008 - New plasma complexes was implements in Belarus, specialists of JSC ”ZONT” received training on the usage of the most modern of plasma cutting sources firms Hypertherm, Termal Dynamics in the Netherlands and Kiellberg, Kemper in Germany.
  

In comparison with 2001 the number of employees has increased to be twice larger. Social conditions of the employees have been improved: locker rooms and shower rooms have been built; hot-water heaters and drinking-water automats have been installed. Major repairs of the roofs of the engineering and administration buildings have been done. Working area and service building have also been under full repair. More then 50 production units (pieces of equipment) were purchased. New gas mini boiler-house has been built; the independent production of windows using the advanced metal-plastic windows manufacturing techniques has been started.

JSC “ZONT” is a permanent participant in the most prestigious exhibitions at home and abroad being awarded with honorary diploma many times for the achievements in the gas-plasma cutting area.

June 2005 JSC “ZONT” among other companies of Ukraine was registered in the almanac “Business image of Ukraine”.

Oxy-fuel CNC plasma cutting machine “Kometa M” got the high-quality mark “Vuscha proba”.

At the present time the projects of new equipment for oxy-fuel, plasma and laser СNС cutting, air-fractioning equipment are being developed, the brand new CNC system is being implemented.
